Rate
Introduction
In Zoyride, a Rate means the pricing rule or fare structure used to calculate charges for different transport services. Rates define how much a customer, client, or supplier will be charged based on the selected service type, vehicle type, package, distance, time, taxes, allowances, and other fare components.
For example, a company may have different rates for local trips, airport pickups, rentals, outstation trips, packages, self-drive bookings, or per-seat shuttle services. Each rate can be configured with its own currency, validity period, rate area, vehicle category, base fare, distance fare, time fare, parking charges, night charges, holiday charges, and supplier margins.
The Rate module helps administrators create, manage, and update pricing rules so that bookings, invoices, client billing, and supplier payments are calculated accurately according to the configured fare structure.
