Q1. How do I add a new supplier to the list?
To add a new supplier:
- Click the plus button at the top-right of the supplier page.
- A form opens, fill in the required fields:
- Supplier Name (mandatory)
- Applied tax (optional)
- Brand Name, Full Name, GST/PAN/TAN (as needed)
- Office Details: Office Name, Address, City, Pin Code
- Admin Details (optional): Name, Email, Phone, etc.
- Click Save.
Q2. What is the difference between brand name and full name?
The brand name is the name the company is publicly known by, such as "Budget Car Rental," while the full name is the legal entity name used in official documents like contracts or invoices, such as "Budget Car Rentals Pvt Ltd."
Q3. How to bulk upload suppliers?
As of now, bulk upload functionality for suppliers is not available.
Q4. What does "Connected Via API" mean?
This means the supplier is integrated automatically via a system connection/API, rather than added manually.
Q5. What does "Is an Integrated Admin" mean?
An Integrated Admin is a special admin account that is:
- Linked directly to the supplier through integration (API, portal, or Often used when vendors/suppliers manage their own trips, rates, or drivers within your ecosystem.)
Q6. What happens when I add an admin in the supplier?
Adding an admin allows that person to:
- Manage bookings or supplier-related tasks
- Receive notifications
- Possibly log into a portal/dashboard if credentials are issued
Q7. What does Allowed IPs mean?
Allowed IPs refer to a security setting that restricts system access to specific IP addresses or networks, ensuring that only approved locations can connect.
Q8. How roles and Zones work?
Roles work by assigning access permissions based on a user's responsibilities, while Zones are based on geographic locations or client-specific, helping control what users can see or do within a system.
Q9. What happens if I check "Notify for Booking Enquiry"?
If checked:
- The supplier admin will receive notifications (through email or WhatsApp/SMS) whenever a booking enquiry is raised involving their supplier.
Q10. How to bulk download supplier details?
- From the supplier page, click on the three-dot menu at the top-right corner.
- Select “Download” from the dropdown.
- A “Download By Template” window will open.
- Choose an existing template or click “Add Template” to create a new one.
- Once the template is selected, click the “Download” button.
The supplier details will be downloaded in Excel format.
Q11. Can I edit any supplier?
Yes. To edit a supplier:
- Click the pencil icon (✏️) in the row of the supplier you want to edit.
- Make the necessary changes in the fields that appear.
- Click Save.
