Itinerary

Introduction

The Itinerary Module is used to create, manage, and organize travel itineraries for bookings, tours, employee transport, airport transfers, and outstation journeys. It helps administrators define travel schedules, route plans, pickup and drop sequences, stop details, and journey timelines.

The module ensures that all stakeholders—including passengers, drivers, dispatchers, and operations teams—have a clear travel plan and schedule.

Accessing the Itinerary Module

  1. Login to the Admin Console.
  2. Open the Main Menu.
  3. Navigate to Operations.
  4. Click Itinerary.

The Itinerary List page will open.

Purpose of the Itinerary Module

The Itinerary Module helps administrators:

  • Create travel plans

The Itinerary List displays all configured itineraries.

Creating a New Itinerary

Steps

  1. Open Operations > Itinerary.
  2. Click + Add Itinerary.
  3. Enter itinerary details.
  4. Configure travel schedule.
  5. Add route points and stops.
  6. Click Save.

The itinerary will be created successfully.

Itinerary Information Fields

Itinerary Name

Enter a name for the itinerary.

Examples:

  • Delhi Airport Pickup
  • Employee Morning Route
  • Jaipur Outstation Trip
  • Corporate Tour Package

Mandatory: Yes

Journey Start Date

Defines when the itinerary begins.

  • Example: 20-Jun-2026

Journey End Date

Defines when the itinerary ends.

  • Example: 22-Jun-2026

Description

Provides additional travel information.

  • Example: Airport pickup service for corporate employees.

The Route Planning section defines the travel path.

Adding Stops

Stops can be added to build the itinerary route.

  1. Open the Itinerary.
  2. Click Add Stop.
  3. Select location.
  4. Define stop sequence.
  5. Save changes.

Stop Information

  • Stop Name — Example: ISBT Dehradun
  • Arrival Time — Expected arrival time at the stop.
  • Departure Time — Expected departure time from the stop.

Stop Sequence

Defines the order of travel.

Example:

  • 1 → Pickup Point
  • 2 → Intermediate Stop
  • 3 → Destination

Pickup & Drop Management

The itinerary can define:

  • Pickup Points: Locations where passengers are collected.
  • Drop Points: Locations where passengers are dropped.
  • Intermediate Stops: Optional travel points between origin and destination.

Managing Travel Schedule

Administrators can define:

  • Pickup Timing
  • Departure Timing
  • Arrival Timing
  • Waiting Time
  • Stop Duration

This helps maintain operational accuracy.

Editing an Itinerary

Steps

  1. Open Itinerary List.
  2. Locate the itinerary.
  3. Click Edit (✏️).
  4. Update information.
  5. Click Save.

Deleting an Itinerary

Steps

  1. Open Itinerary List.
  2. Click Delete (🗑️).
  3. Confirm deletion.

Verify that the itinerary is not linked to:

  • Active Bookings
  • Scheduled Trips
  • Tours
  • Employee Transport Plans
  • Passenger Reservations

Searching Itineraries

Administrators can search using:

  • Itinerary Name
  • Route Name
  • Destination
  • Start Date

Steps

  1. Open Itinerary Module.
  2. Use the Search Box.
  3. Enter search criteria.

Matching records will be displayed.

Bulk Operations

The Itinerary Module supports bulk management functions.

Bulk Delete

Delete multiple itineraries simultaneously.

  1. Select itinerary records.
  2. Open Action Menu (⋮).
  3. Select Bulk Delete.
  4. Confirm action.

Upload

Import itinerary records using a template.

  1. Open Action Menu (⋮).
  2. Select Upload.
  3. Upload the file.
  4. Submit.

Download

Export itinerary records.

  1. Open Action Menu (⋮).
  2. Select Download.

The itinerary report will be exported.

Customise

Customize visible columns.

  1. Open Action Menu (⋮).
  2. Select Customise.
  3. Configure visible fields.
  4. Save changes.

Itinerary Status Management

  • Draft: Itinerary is under preparation.
  • Active: Itinerary is currently available for use.
  • Completed: Journey has been completed.
  • Cancelled: Itinerary is no longer valid.

The itinerary provides a complete travel timeline.
