Bus
Introduction
The Bus/Shuttle module in Zoyride is used to create, manage, and track bus or open shuttle bookings. It allows administrators to configure trip details such as trip type, trip date, itinerary, assigned vehicle, driver, time table, and seat rate.
This module is closely connected with the Time Table and Seat Rate setup. The time table defines the route, stops, timings, and travel days, while the seat rate defines the fare for each seat based on pickup and drop locations. Once these are created, they can be selected while creating a Bus/Shuttle booking.
The Bus/Shuttle module also supports seat reservation, where administrators can select boarding and drop stops, choose seats from the seating layout, add passenger details, review fare details, and book seats for passengers. This module is useful for managing scheduled bus or shuttle trips, controlling seat availability, applying route-based fares, and maintaining complete passenger reservation records.
