Travel Report

Introduction

The Travel Report Module provides a complete overview of all trips operated through the system. It enables administrators to monitor completed, pending, and error trips, review planned versus actual performance, analyze passenger movement, verify routes through GPS tracking, monitor vehicle speed, review incidents, and generate operational reports.

Accessing the Travel Report Module

  1. Login to the Admin Console.
  2. Open the Main Menu.
  3. Navigate to Reports.
  4. Click Travel Report.

The Travel Report screen will display all available trip records.

The Travel Report dashboard provides a summarized view of trip operations.

Filtering Travel Reports

Filter by Status

The Status filter allows administrators to view trips based on their operational status.

Available Status Types:

  • Completed
  • Pending
  • Error
  • Cancelled

Steps

  1. Open Travel Report.
  2. Select the Status dropdown.
  3. Choose the desired status.

Results will refresh automatically.

Filter by Date

Steps

  1. Click Trip Date.
  2. Select Start Date.
  3. Select End Date.
  4. Apply the filter.

The system will display trips within the selected period.

Ride Details

Common Status Messages:

  • Driver Not Assigned: No driver has been assigned.
  • Registration Pending: Vehicle registration number has not been updated.

Passenger Information

Displays:

  • Passenger Count
  • Planned Boarding Time
  • Actual Boarding Time
  • Travel Status

Passenger Status:

  • Travelled: Passenger completed the journey.
  • No Show: Passenger did not board the vehicle.

Planned vs Actual Performance

This section compares operational planning against actual trip execution.

Incident Management

The Incidents section displays all trip-related incidents.

If no incidents exist, the system displays: “No Records Available”

GPS Trip Map

The Trip Map provides visual route tracking using GPS data.

Opening the Trip Map

  1. Open Travel Report.
  2. Locate the required trip.
  3. Click the Map icon.

The Trip Map window will open.

The system uses route colors to indicate vehicle speed conditions.

  • Slow Speed: Indicates Traffic Congestion, Vehicle Delays, or Waiting Time.
  • Normal Speed: Indicates Expected Operating Speed and Smooth Route Movement.
  • Fast Speed: Indicates High-Speed Movement, Possible Overspeeding, or Safety Review Requirement.
